I entered into the month of March feeling ill; my brothers, mother and I had fallen to a dreadful flu, of which the worst were the first twenty-four hours (one of those nasty vomiting viruses, which I would be grateful to never catch again), with headaches, dizziness, confusion and pain lasting for quite a few days afterwards. Only yesterday was I able to confidently say to myself that I felt completely better, although I confess to still feeling fatigued, but that's normal for me, unfortunately.
March is not one of my favourite months, but it does favourably bring the Springtime with it... I wonder when Easter is. If I were more awake, I'd probably be bothered enough to go check it up or ask somebody who would know off the top of their head, but as I only woke up some time ago, I'm just taking it easy and not giving much energy into anything as it were.
Speaking of viruses, my laptop had actually been "broken" for quite some time because of a virus (and many, many adware tracking cookies) I had apparently picked up via the ads on deviantART. I spoke more of this in my dA journal (which I don't update often, actually): http://undead-doll.deviantart.com/journal/30727597/
But anyhow, I found a good website online where I was able to download missing files in the registry, such as the ".exe" file - at first, I had thought it not to work, but the following day, I was surprised to see the laptop starting up as it normally did before the virus had struck it, and was relieved I didn't need to once again re-install my wireless network card to even go online this time, because the laptop is once again able to recognise the files needed for most programs. :)
With the refreshing Spring just around the corner, I do hope my brothers and I are able to get back to working on CTM related duties, and hopefully we will be able to afford our own webserver again very soon. God, I have missed artwork and writing! Well, those, and our other projects as well, but namely artwork and writing, as that was always my favourite (followed by filming, and music). ^_^
On the previous subject, I think my obsession with finding a job had been the major cause for myself to fall ill, because I haven't been doing much to relax nor take care of my health for the past few months, so I guess now I'll just take it easy, as Mother and my brothers tell me to (actually, all my friends say the same thing... mmph, I suppose I have to, with everybody against me on that one!)
Although, I do have good news in that regard - I found a place in a nearby city where I can go into training for fifteen months to become a practical nurse, which Mom approves of. And I'm thinking I could do this... I could train to become a nurse, which will be a good paying and steady job (once out of training, I hope to work with children), and while I'm training with my nurse duties, I could do freelance work and other things on the side, which should help with family issues and help me overcome my shyness around other people (I am rather awkward around others, I don't think I always say the right things either, but oh well).
Oh yes, on a sidenote, I now have a Soul Calibur dedicated blog which can be found here: http://undead-doll.blogspot.com/
My SC GameBlog will be covering thoughts and SC related projects (such as fanart and fanfiction), just for fun because I have seriously missed Soul Calibur and it's fun to have silly hobbies on the side as such. :)
